Housing San Francisco’s Teachers*

September 27 @ 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm

A teacher shortage crisis across the country, combined with San Francisco’s spiraling cost of living, has led to an explosion of interest in how we can better house our educators. This year, the city and school district announced that more than $44 million, and a district site in the Sunset, would be dedicated to educator housing. Join SPUR for a conversation about the challenges and opportunities of this project and what else could still be accomplished.

Speakers
Kate Hartley | San Francisco Mayor’s Office of Housing and Community Development
Myong Leigh | San Francisco Unified School District
