Home & Environment Conversation Presented by WoodWorks

April 22 @ 9:00 am - 10:00 am

Join us for a conversation about the ways building designers and owners are prioritizing sustainability to reduce the climate impacts of the built environment. Buildings generate nearly 40% of annual global greenhouse gas emissions, yet we need to build more to meet the housing demands, particularly here in the Bay Area. Reductions in both embodied carbon of building materials and operational carbon are the key to reducing the emissions of our homes. We will discuss innovations in building industry materials and technology that are paving the way for a greener future.

The Housing Action Coalition’s Home & … series is designed to raise public awareness around the interconnection of housing and other critical issues such as health, transportation, the environment, and more.
