The San Francisco Housing Action Coalition and regional arm the Bay Area Housing Advocacy Coalition have a uniquely collaborative relationship with our boards of directors; 2 diverse cohorts of leaders in housing policy, construction and development, law and finance, advocacy and activism, and more.

While we can’t celebrate and welcome 2020’s latest additions to the boards in the manner we’d prefer, both teams are nonetheless proud to welcome our newest boardmembers;

Dave Seward – SFHAC

David Seward serves as the Chief Financial Officer of UC Hastings College of the Law where he is responsible for financial and business management functions, long-range capital planning, intergovernmental relations, risk, investment and real estate management. He also oversees the development and implementation of the school’s Long Range Campus Plan and its strategic centerpiece, the Academic Village. Active in the community, Seward serves on the Board of Directors of the Tenderloin Museum and San Francisco Housing Action Coalition. In 2003, he helped establish the Tenderloin Community Benefit District and was the chair of the group tasked with its renewal in 2019. Previous board service includes the Tenderloin Economic Development Project, Advisory Board for Urban Solutions, and Hamilton Family Center (as board president from 2007-2009). Mr. Seward grew up outside Detroit and graduated from the University of Michigan.
