Small Project Self-Score Card Guidelines
Given our current housing shortage, HAC supports the creation of new homes. Does the project maintain or increase the number of homes currently on-site?

HAC supports the creation of Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs). Does the project propose ADUs?
HAC prefers projects that minimize the number of parking stalls on-site to encourage transit. Does the project propose car parking on-site?
HAC prefers projects implement TDM measures to ensure residents use alternative forms of transportation in order to minimize vehicle miles traveled (VMTs). How many bicycle parking stalls does the project propose? What is the ratio of bike parking to units? Which public transit lines serve the project within a quarter mile? Within a half mile? What else are you doing to reduce VMTs?
Does the project require current tenants to be evicted? If yes, why?
If the project requires relocation of current tenants, has the project team provided adequate resources to relocate current residents?
HAC considers project impact fees to be a considerable asset to the City. How much does the project contribute in fees to help fund City programs? How much are you paying in fees per unit?
HAC expects a project team to make a good-faith outreach effort to the community. Has the project team made a good-faith effort to hear and integrate community feedback? If any project elements have been changed through community input, how?
